Rema Kumar

Rema Kumar is an educationist with over two decades of experience, teaching in schools all over the country. She has been involved with Prakriya Green Wisdom School, Bengaluru since its initial years partnering in the visioning and co-creating the institution. She held the roles of Principal and Director of the school before moving on to Bhoomi Network. She is currently Director, Bhoomi College.

She has a passion and commitment to institution building processes, enabling individuals to tap into their potential to build learning communities. She holds a BA Honours Degree in Economics from Delhi University. An avid reader she spends her free time writing for journals and magazines. Rema has been the assistant editor of The Eternal Bhoomi Magazine for a couple of years. She also has a keen interest in deep ecology and using stories to connect ideas and people.

Rema completed her internship journey with Aastha Foundation in the year 2002. She has held the role of Executive Director of the Governing Council of Aastha and currently she is on the board of the trustees.
