Ishita Bose Sarkar

Ishita Bose Sarkar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She started her career as an artist in the advertising industry. She then moved to the education field in 1990. She has worked in Prakriya Green Wisdom School since its initial years and has held the roles of Coordinator, and Head Mistress. In her role she was instrumental for bringing in practices for creative teaching learning processes. Her interest of fostering creative expression in children and fellow teachers enabled her to anchor many creative productions.

Currently in her role as Director Projects she is responsible for the multiple projects and events held at Bhoomi. She also anchors sessions for Bhoomi College. She completed her internship in process work in 2005 from Aastha Foundation and has been a facilitator for process labs at Aastha and Bhoomi. She is passionate about art and music and dabbles with both in her spare time.
