Ashutosh Bhupatkar

Ashutosh is a Management academician with three decades of experience in teaching, research and academic management. In his role of Director he led the Institute for Management Development and Research for 16 years. Pursuing his deeper interests in Systems Thinking, Process Consultation, Organisation Studies and Indian Management, Prof Ashutosh has designed and introduced postgraduate courses in these areas.
He trained in Process Work with ISISD. He has been a facilitator at summer programmes of ISISD and Aastha Foundation, Bangalore. He is involved with Process Work for more than two decades.
His research studies cover ‘The Organisation Agenda for a New Era’, ‘Ethical Awareness of Managers’, ‘Managerial Values’, ‘Aftermath of Voluntary Retirement Schemes’, ‘Identification of Competencies in young entrants’ and ‘Evolution of Organisation Capabilities'. He was involved in setting up Pearl School of Business - a Business school that focuses on Entrepreneurship studies and heads it as Director.
He is a member of the Governing bodies of Kamayani Society, Tathapi Trust, Little People Education Society and Sarasvati Education Society. Besides professional writing, he has published English translations of poetry and fiction in Marathi. He lives in Pune with his wife.
